Ukrainian Mythology: Letavyc, evil spirit

Летавиць (Перелесник) — різновид злого духу, що, як зірка, падає з неба та відвідує людей, прибираючи вигляд рідних, близьких, коханих. Вірили, що його можна "дістати" з великої туги за покійною людиною. Втілившись в її образ, перелесник міг вступати у подружнє життя з живими людьми. Діти, що народжувалися від перелесника, зовні нагадували одмінків. Вигнати перелесника з хати, де він оселився, дуже важко.  За іншими дежерелами має вигляд вогняного змія, що літає вночі до жінок, іноді це дух померлого чоловіка.

Від себе: 
Оскільки визначення його трохи різняться, я вирішила поєднати все, в тому числі й образ Летавця з твору Лесі Українки  "Лісова пісня. 
Отже в моєму розумінні, Летавиць - це дух померлого чоловіка, який може приймати вигляд й як молодого запального рудого хлопця, так й вогняного змія. Одяг йому я взяла із замальовок щодо одягу міщан Середньовіччя та Руського періоду. Волосся - руде, бо він має уособлювати вогненне щось. 
Очі: я вирішила зобразити їх саме такими, адже Летавець - злий дух. 
Нігті пофарбувала, бо звикла, що в манзі зло завжди має чорні нігті. Але в моєму випадку вогняний хлопак має й вогненного кольору нігті. Що ще? 
Тату...Не знаю, мені здалося цими дивними розписами на обличчі та руках я додам йому більш демонічного та містичного змісту. 

В принципі все, здається. Маю надію, що моє бачення цього капосника  вам прийде до душі.

Letavyć (Perelesnyk) is an evil spirit/demon, who comes to the people from the sky as a star. He takes on the appearance of relatives, lovers, etc, who have died. There is a belief, that he can appear in the house, where a person is mourning for their dead lover, relative, etc. very very much. When Letavyc takes on the appearance of such a person, who has died, he can come into house and get married with the human or live as a husband (if he takes the appearance of dead husband). In the house where Letavyc lives, the children are born as odminky (Changeling). It is very difficult to make him leave the house. Other sources tell us that Letavyc can look like a fiery dragon, who prefers to visit women in the night. Sometimes it can take on the look of a spirit of a dead man. 

My view: 
As different sources give a slightly different description of Letavyc, I have decided to unite all of them into one. 
In the poem of Lesya Ukrainka named "Forest song" Letavyc (Perelesnyk) looks like fiery young man, who flies fast... 
So in my imagination Letavyc (Perelesnyk) is young man, the spirit of a human, who died long long LOOOONG ago, he is young, can fly, has red hair and can turn into a fiery dragon. 
I took the idea for his clothes from the sketches of the clothes worn in the Kyivan Rus and of the clothes used in the Middle ages in the Ukrainian cities. 
I have decided to draw his eyes this way because I wanted to show his demonic nature. I've also painted his fingernails because I remember that in mangas all demons have painted nails.  
I've aslo added smth like tattoo on him, to make his demonic nature more visible.
