Dear Poles!
I am really shocked by some of you!
When I began this comics, you told me that it was interesting to see our truth..But now some of you is showing some anger.
SO.In order to avoid the questions and dissatisfaction from others I want to inform you:
Tell "thank you" that I don't use the history of the times with Russian propaganda? where all poles and even polish kings were shit and Chmelnitski is saviour.
Also just try to turn your logic and think:
1.Ukrainians are peaceful patient nation mostly.. we have never fought in the name of power, crushing on others etc.
2. Ukrainian mentality - my house is on the border.. it means that while the problems do not touch ukrainian human's family,he will never enter to the fight and help to other
3. Ukrainians raise against only when the patient is gone and life became bad for most of people. In other words: when the problems touch mostly families only then Ukrainians unite and raise.
4. Ukrainians are not Germans..they will never follow blindly the leader... they support leader only when they understand that their life can be changed thanks to the leader...
So try to understand..that Chmelnitski would never be supported by people so easy, if really everything was better...and Shliachta really do not crush on people so much..and did not do what they did in Ukraine.

Polish Seym began to crush on people infinitely: full villages were rent out to Jews, children were tortured, women were punished, powder was filled up in the bosom of men and set a fire...

Świetny komiks, niedawno na niego trafiłam, a po przeczytaniu komentarzy poniżej, specjalnie sobie założyć tutaj konto. Nie przejmuj się tymi napuszonymi, holier than thou obrońcami politycznej poprawności. Tworzysz komiks, a nie książkę historyczną, więc masz prawo pokazać historię ze swojej perspektywy, tak jak ją interpretujesz.
Do reszty ludzi, którzy są bardziej czepliwi niż Anti-Defamation League:
"Maus" Arta Spiegelmana [link] też było krytykowana przez Polaków, bo autor przedstawił Polaków jako świnie. [link] Jakoś nikt się nie przejął. Jego przedstawienie Żydów jako małych słodkich małych myszek, a Polaków jako tłustych, spasionych świń, które tylko czekają, żeby wydać biedne, wychudzone myszki kotom-nazistom i w zasadzie są od nich gorsze. Nawet jeśli to pewne przekłamanie historii, to przecież jego komiks nie jest książką historyczną, a opowieścią o jego ojcu, opowieścią, z jego perspektywy. Świetnie opowiedzianą, nawiasem mówiąc.
